Chrystine Bennett
Chrystine Bennett was the first consultant to join Beverly and Cluttergone two years ago and serves as 'head girl' whenever Beverly is on holiday. She has logged over 1500 hours with almost individual clients. She brought extensive cluttering clearing experience from over 20 years.
Chrystine has experience with ‘paper’ having created filing systems in offices as well as domestic settings.
| Her greatest triumph, drawing on her BA from Hampshire College, has been ‘clearing the clutter’ and discovering the papers and letters of Winifred Gill. She organised it into an archive which has been accepted by an important major collection. The BBC Radio 4 programme 'There's More Here Than I Thought' on the creation of Winifred's live and archive was aired 28 April 2009. |
Chrystine's background includes teaching and office management. Our clients have also been able to draw on Chrystine's experience and training as a set and costume designer. She did a two year MA program in scenography at Wimbledon School of Art before designing more than 50 productions; working with actors as young as 8 to as old as 80. Four years ago, she started advising actors what to wear to auditions and working with them to define their professional wardrobes. For Cluttergone this has meant an expansion into 'wardrobe make-overs' that focus on the clients needs rather than a fashion ideal. West Hampstead, North West London has been home for 15 years and she works anywhere easily reachable by rail or tube from London - Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Surrey and Sussex.
